Dear Florian,

I had the same problem, Apache was working OK, ActivePerl also but
http://localhost/tpp-bin/check_env.pl gave a 404 error. My path environment
variable and my httpd.conf file were OK. I managed to solve it doing this:

- I completely uninstalled TPP, Apache and ActivePerl (deleting folders,
cleaning registry with CCcleaner and passing adwCleaner).

- I installed again ActivePerl but the 5.18 instead of the 5.20 (x64
version).

- I tried to reinstall the net frameworks and MCVC required but it seems
that I already have installed all the 4. Anyway I repared the MCVC
installations (the options were repare or delete). In the case of NET
frameworks, for Windows 7 you have to activate it through the control panel
-> Install and uninstall programs -> Turn Windows features on/off -> Click
on NET Framework 3.5.1 and the subcategories (
http://superuser.com/questions/254234/how-do-i-install-net-framework-3-5-on-windows-7).

If you have NET framework 4.5.2, the system will not let you install 4.0,
it is not necessary.

- Then I rebooted.

- I turned off Firewall and installed TPP, and finally rebooted, voilĂ !! I
clicked on the TPP icon and the login webpage opened.

I do not know if it is due to the firewall, anyway I did not try to
activate it again, just in case. By the way, I have a Windows 7 x64 OS.

Hope it helps! Good luck!
