I'm +1 on .spdx for tag:value SPDX files & .rdf for SPDX RDF files,
that's what I thought it was, but when searching for it being documented
wasn't finding it.  :-/

Its an oversite that we haven't clarified this before now.

I've opened https://bugs.linuxfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1329
to make sure this gets tracked and fixed for 2.1
