Changed the temp file path - didnt work! Same error!!
As for Brad's theory - why would there be a duplicate, as the target db is a
new bank one and the existing cfaObjects is installed via the setup of 1.01?

Try entering a different path to the temporary files- for example c:\foo.
Spectra writes out WDDX packets when it migrates, then sucks them back into
the new DB. If there are multiple versions of the packets, it will try to
suck in all of them.
Does this make sense?

Hi All,
I have just reinstalled server & studio 4.51 and Spectra 1.01 successfully
on my machine after a decision with our dev team to have them installed on
the d: partition (although it has been working fine on my c: for the last
few months).
I now have a problem when trying to upgrade the cfaObject database to SQL
Server 7.
I set up a new db in SQL 7 and call it cfaObjects. I then create an ODBC
dsn called cfaObjectsNew. Then, I log into the Webtop and select to migrate
dbs and from is 'cfaObjects' and to is 'cfaObjectsNew'.
I get the following error:
ODBC Error Code = 23000 (Integrity constraint violation)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Violation of PRIMARY KEY
constraint 'pk_propertydefinitions'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object
'propertydefinitions'.
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFQUERY), occupying document position (3:1) to (3:67).
HELP!!!!
PS I've tried uninstalling and physically deleting the .db and .mdb dbs in
prog files/allaie/spectra/databases before reinstalling, stopping all
services including SQL Server, to no avail
