I know there are people who have gotten SiteMinder to work, but it always seems
to be at great expense of time and effort. I have seen more than one person work
on it, thinking they have "just one more problem" to solve only to find another
one crop up afterwards.
For Spectra 1.01 my solution has become: leave it in Access (ugly as that may
be) for the purposes of controlling access to the webtop and then implement your
own security scheme for the interface to your application.
I'm sure you will get other suggestions from other people who have struggled
through getting it to work and their efforts are very admirable and VERY
helpful. I'm just suggesting that your life will be a lot simpler in the long
run if, for the application you are working on, you can work around SiteMinder
entirely.

Hello all, I installed Spectra yesterday and the installation was quite
successful. I assigned webtop permissions to different groups. There was no
problem in doing this also. I restarted the computer and when I go back to
