Getting Java and CF to talk via WDDX is a breeze ...

Recently I wrote a small applet that grabbed a CF generated WDDX packet then
deserialised it into a Java based vector ... it worked like a dream ... you
can get all the documentation from http://www/wddx.org/ ...

If you want more information, just let me know ...

cheers
Mark

Subject: bulk publishing, solaris and Java with wddx

Hello all,

I have a couple of questions....

(1) Can you associate or group multiple new content pieces into a single
entity (a "release" or "edition") that you can push to production at the
same time, and likewise roll back at the same time?

(2) I heard something somewhere along these lines: "Spectra on Solaris
requires an
iPlanet web server". I assume some type of web server software was required
for
either the Unix or NT platforms - can you enlighten me as to what this
comment meant?

(3) Can Java deal with wddx data structures? How does say a cold fusion
sructure map to a Java data structure?

Thanks for your help!
