Remember, when you are creating or deleting workflows, you are not only
creating/deleting the workflow objects but also the tasks. I don't know how many tasks
you have but this takes some time.
Again, I would ask how many total workflows you have. Having too many is where we saw
problems.

The problem is that even a simple thing like cfa_workflowInstanceCreate
takes about eight seconds to complete. Deleting a workflow is even
slower.

Anything that takes >1 second to load is slow in my book.
