I have to admit that we don't have any hard numbers on the difference for create and
delete, although we did see a speed up. Certainly the major improvement was with
finding tasks assigned to users as you would expect with the way Spectra does this.
Since this was the only problem we had with workflows I was just throwing this out as
a possibility - for us 3 secs to create a workflow is not a big deal.

I fail to see how the number of workflows would affect performance. If it
does then that would be a major design flaw. Or do you mean that it takes
forever to do things like find out which tasks are assigned to a certain
user?
