Same problem here, which is why they are so frustrating. I am meant to be
writing applications but I must first fix the framework.

I am fairly sure all the changes we made to Oracle drivers and clients where
irrelevent also, the core issue is with Spectra as cfserver on Solaris with
Oracle is pretty reliable.

I don't think CF 5 is gold yet on Solaris (though I may be wrong).

I haven't found anything yet, but that is basically because I have to
develop code as well, so I don't have too much time to troubleshoot all
these problems. :)

FWIW we don't use oracle, we use an MSSQL7 db.  The cfserver process
repeatedly crashes and coredumps, even when there is zero load on the
machine. Thus far I frankly don't have the greatest confidence in
spectra's general stability.

I wonder if anyone is running a production spectra 1.5.1 system on Solaris
with CF 5.
