This error is detailed below and occurs during the post install script phase
of the Coldfusion 5 installation.
Failed to load smidentity library 'smidentity'. The system cannot open the
device or file specified.
The errors below happen during an installation of Coldfusion 5 onto a
Solaris 8 (release 4/01) "core" install. These errors do not occur when
doing the exact same install on Solaris 8 (4/01) "end user".
I need someone to tell me what extra Solaris packages we need to add to our
core install to make this go away. We cannot use the "end user" install for
security reasons. We only want to add just the bare minimum required to the
core install to make it work.
While I'm at it can does anyone know the package requirements for Spectra as
well please?
