If your userdirectory db has not been converted, but your smpolicy db has
been upgraded for CF 5, you will need to go into Advanced Security admin,
and change the SQL queries into userdirectory. Either that, or you can
upgrade userdirectory to use the new format. Good Luck!

Subject: Siteminder Problems

All,

We are having what I believe to be problems with siteminder.

We have upgraded a client from 1.0.1 to 1.5.1 recently, and now we cannot
log in to the webtop or the admin section of our app. The login for the
admin area uses cfa_secure, which then calls cfa_authenticate, which in turn
calls cfauthenticate. I have confirmed that cfauthenticate fails, although
the odbc to the userdirectory is working properly and the DB can be queried
successfully.

I have tried to completely remove the odbc and recreate, and did the same
with the security context, with no results.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Seth Morris
