Hey, it turns out that for some readon the Advanced Security of my CFAS
install was bad, dont ask me how I dont know. I had to reinstall it
and then recreate everything Spectra used to get it working again...

Understandibly I am not happy.. roll on the CFMX version so I can then
get rid of Siteminder!

Neil,

When you say the webtop is acting funny, do you mean that you CAN
authenticate through SmTest.exe? There's an article detailing how to
test it this way, just search for SmTest.

I've had this a few times, and if cycling services didn't help, I had to
delete and re-create the security context and/or userdirectory. This
usually fixed things up - but PLEASE backup your userdirectory settings
(in an ini file, name escapes me at the moment - SmDsQuery.ini?).

Turn on siteminder logging through the console, and try smtest. It
should at least verify whether siteminder if baulking, or misconfigured.

Hope that helps,

Using the Webtop fine and dandy, I closed the machine down and when I
rebooted the Webtop will not let me in with my credentials?!?!?!?!

I have been using this for months now but now it decided to freak... I
am tired and I cant remember what the deal is with this?

I am running the cfaobjects DB in SQL Server and all CF/Siteminder
services are running OK...

I have check the .mdb to double check my username & password but and
they match, I just cant login?!

Neil
