I feel your pain. Siteminder is always a thorn. The rest of the setup has
never been a big deal. Kind of feel like Spectra is an unfinished
masterpiece. We keep hoping that MM will set the codebase free to paid
customers so that we can make our own installer piece and continue to
extend it.

I should note that I'm not a Spectra developer; I just set it up. I always
found that to be extremely frustrating, and was simply venting that
frustration. To this day, I still have SiteMinder nightmares. So, please
excuse my venting, and don't interpret it as a statement about Spectra
development.
By the way, I was the one who set up the training machines for the Spectra
class, last week.
