sorry for the delay, your request got lost somewhere in my Spectrum brain ;-)
We had a problem regarding high CPU on devices caused by
HSRP-SNMP-requests (HSRP table got read approx 100x per polling
interval).
Changing HSRPMode (0x21174f) to "passive" ("read once, change when
trapped") fixed this as a workaround for us.
Got a comment from support that the excessive polling will be fixed in
9.1 (not fully standalone, more like a SP based on 9.0).
9.1 is announced for 1H2009, our partner expects it to be released in April/May.
