René,

Sorry, but I can't see the "HSRPMode" atribute. We have problems in our network
currently (many polling about hsrp information and high CPU Utilization in
monitored devices with HSRP Instances).

Regards,

Pablo Vicencio Diaz.

The SPECTRUM support team is currently investigating the possibility of these
SpectroSERVER crashes being related to the new 9.0 HSRP/VRRP group overlay
functionality.

We are in the process of creating a tech solution knowledgebase doc that
explains the functionality, it's default setting of "on" and how to change it
to "off" or "passive".

I only found one support ticket open for Pablo Vicencio, CallT0000232880.

If you have ticket numbers, please let me know what they are so we can track
your problem and solution.

If you could all change the HSRP setting to off, and validate if this resolves
your problems, please let me know.

9.0 HSRP/VRRP group overlay - to disable, please do the following:

1. Find all the CiscoHSRPApp models using the Locater
2. For each model,
        a. Select
        b. Click on the Attributes tab
        c. In the left column Filter box, enter HSRPMode
        d. Double click on the HSRPMode entry in the right column
        e. Uncheck the No Change check box
        f. Change the value to Off
        g. Click on the OK button
3. Find all the VRRPApp models
4. For each model
        a. Select
        b. Click on the Attributes tab
        c. In the left column Filter box, enter VRRPMode
        d. Double click on the VRRPMode entry in the right column
        e. Uncheck the No Change check box
        f. Change the value to Off
        g. Click on the OK button
5. Monitor the memory to see if it stabilizes.

Asunto: [spectrum] spectroserver crash after applying hotfix 3

Hi All,
I have spectrum 9.0 installed on win 2003 platform. i have been facing
issues related to spectro server for long. Due to which i installed the
hotfix 3.0 but since then the spectroserver is crashing with error of
application fault. A ticket with CA support has been open but no
solution yet. If any List member can help that would be quite
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
