Robert,

We are possibly doing the same type of upgrade and was planning to go from 8.1
-> 9.0 -> 9.1  A few questions about going from 8.1 to 9.0 though, did you have
to bring the spectroserver up completely after you did the upgrade to 9.0
before going to 9.1, other than when the install does it itself? Did you go to
9.0 then patch to most recent hot-fix before going to 9.1? With our database
size it can't activate all models before crashing with 9.0, the fix from CA was
to go to 9.1 after sending them multiple memory dumps from the redhat server,
if I have to bring it completely up in 9.0 i am out of luck and will have to go
to support for some workaround.

Let me know if you get a chance.

Regards,
