I ran into this issues also and did not like the way the hierarchies combined security strings so I changed it. I forget were I found the info initially but it involved using the model type editor to change the default security model's attribute that defines how security strings are combined. Hope that helps. Hello, Thanks fort he hint, but this is not possible. After changing the string manually to ???String1 | Strin???ÿ?, Spectrum changes the String t???ÿ?String1 & String2??? automatically. I think the problem is the inheritance from the Org_Owns containers. If a device is placed in 2 containers, Spectrum merge the security strings automatically with the AND operator. I do????t find any variable / option to disable the????featu???ÿ?.
