I was working through the upgrade process in my Lab environment and came across
something weird.

I am going to be upgrading from Spectrum 8.1 H17 to 9.1.2. I was planning to
start with my Fault Tolerant server first and when I have upgraded the server
to the new version and start the SpectroServer, the database start with a
precedence of 10 instead of 20, which it was set to when I was running it on
8.1 H17.

When the SpectroServer process is started up on the Fault Tolerant server the
Primary SpectroServer still running on 8.1 H17 starts receiving a hugh influx
of errors in the locserver.out file.

If I reset the process the errors stop writing to the log.

Has anyone else seen this behavior, and if so what did you do as the workaround?

I have an idea on how to resolve it, just thought I would get your input.

Thanks,
Jonathan
