Hi Group. I have received a request from our team which goes to game events for local monitoring of their devices. Currently we monitor the devices which goes to events through our central servers. I was thinking of using remote operations server, which can be sent with their kits and we can discover and monitor the devices when they come online. However they want a local OneClick server.
Has anyone installed OneClick on remote operations server. If yes, does OneClick point back to the MLS or can it just point to the local server and can the network manager in the remote site log on to the local OneClick and see the what's happening in their network. Below is the business requirement I have received: Do we have a small footprint of OneClick that folks can use when on site at an event? The remote support folks would like something local to the site to monitor the infrastructure and some systems. Can we set them up locally without having to rely on polling and OneClick access from here? Saurabh Bohra Sr. Network Mgmt Systems Analyst ESPN Inc.
