Hi Stefan,

I will try your idea about dedges.
Yeah, I use that algorithm! Do you happen to know a similar algorithm (without
inner slice moves) for the other orientation parity algorithm that preserves
the corner twists and doesn't solve the permutation parity?

We need a good 4x4 solver! Even with ACube4 I cannot find the algorithms. :-(
ACube4 works well for other stuff.

Have fun,

Ron

I meant that while you pair up the dedges, you count how many are
oriented wrong, just like you'd count how many are wrong for 3x3
blindsolving. Somehow you'd need to take care that the dedges you've
built and counted don't get flipped while building the remaining
  dedges.

How about doing OLL + OrientationParity in one go? Chris already shows
some setup moves for the parity fixer on his webpage. With a few more
algs and more setup moves doing OLL including parity fix in one go
seems not too bad to me.

Oh, and try this alg (Frederick's alg with setup move) for just
flipping one edge and swapping two corners:

  R' (Rr)2 B2 (Rr)' U2 (Rr)' U2 B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr) B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr)2 B2 U2
  R

  Cheers!
  Stefan
