Hmmm... maybe I'm being hasty.  The tosser could /inadvertently/ 
control the outcome: e.g., HT and TH might occur more frequently than 
HH and TT (or vice versa), if the coin is picked up and tossed in 
almost the same way every time.  So maybe you'd have to look at those 
short-range correlations, even if the coin is "fair".
