It's odd. I'm not.
An occasional doubled up message isn't unusual. SMTP attempts to be
"fail safe" so you will get 2 messages rather than 0.
However, if all messages are being doubled up then this points to
something else wrong.
Are you sure you haven't subscribed twice with two different addresses?
Or have an alias set up on your local box?
