Yeah, well usually it is
pppd call optionsfile
where optionsfile contains various options.
Otherwise it is
pppd
which uses the default options (/etc/ppp/options).
In that file you need to say that you are using the
pppoatm plugin (plugin pppoatm.so), and what
your vpi/vci pair is (8.35 for example); other options
like userpeerdns go there too.
