sorry, i was replying to your direct email instead of the mailing list

my ISP uses PPPOE, and I'm using the kernel module
i'm not 100% sure it will work, but it's wishful thinking :) the fact that the 
speedtouch program can detect, and load
the firware to the modem successfully tells me it should be fine

am I wrong?
