As far as usermode driver are concerned, everything could be implemented in usermode of course :-). However, I agree that it has nothing to do with the part specific to this modem (the real driver in a way). Where is this OAM flows documented? Is there some standard documents saying the proper behaviour of the ATM layer in such a way that it could be use for checking our code later?
