Hi Hazel, I've been using my Speedtouch 330 with Fedora Core 4, which is also very simple to install. It gives you a few predefined options when you install; the workstation one will install a graphical interface as standard. The instructions for the Speedtouch on http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/fedora/index.html worked straight away for me. You can download either CD or DVD ISO images if you look at http://fedora.redhat.com/download/.
I've also recently got the modem working on the Centos distribution thanks to help on this list (cheers Andrew, BTW). Thanks, Chris Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
