if you have the green modem, rev 0 you could have some problem, since it is an isdn modem with firmware upgrade for adsl, and you could have problems with a line speed more than 4 mbps. so i had to give it a max line band of 4mpbs. now, i also seen that your ping have a greater delay when the net is under heavy traffic. this says something very important: your isp has given you a max band of 6 mbps, but it didn't actually assigned more bandwidth on the physical system and under heavy congestion you could have a worse bandwidth than you had before the upgrade. this is due to the isp's desire to get more clients with the least costs possible, even this implies to have a share of customers with uneasyness. so try to see wich is the effective problem: the one concerning the max speed of the modem, or the one of the real bandwidth during congestion of the network.
