I installed the speedtouch modem succesfully under Ubuntu Breezy Badger
following the indications in:
    http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/ubuntu/index.html
After upgrading to 6.06 (Dapper Drake) I cannot get on line anymore.
I *did* copy the speedtouch file to /lib/firmware, as indicated by the
abovementioned guide, but when I type

        sudo pppd call speedtch

I get returned: unrecognized option nas0

ifconfig also doesn't show the nas0 device.
If I load:

        sudo br2684ctl -b -c o -a 8.32

and then:

        sudo ifconfig nas0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up

and then again:

        sudo pppd call speedtch

Then the device appears and I am on line.

Apparently the dial script isn't called, eventhough I have double
checked everything against the guide.

Any ideas what may be wrong?
