Hmm, I don't have either of those files on my machine - tried a find / -name
pppoatm.ko and for usbatm.ko and no results.

My speedtouch wasn't connected at the time I did the install - I don't know
if that could make a difference.

I also do think the firmware is getting loaded as when the udev service
starts the lights on the modem flash, so I think that's fine.

I'm just puzzled about this atm support/modules - they seem to be nowhere to
be found and I can't work out why.

I'm using 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 which appears to be the same as you have. I
tried installing the linux-atm and linux-atm-lib packages but they didn't
add any atm modules anywhere.

Still rather puzzled.

Fedora Core 5 comes with ATM support
