Greets: just installed the thing and trying to learn the basics. Did a quick search on line in the archives and came across a recent post on a basic beginners howto. So a few questions if I may. Here is what I did and where I ran into some problems. The installation and setup/config all went fine. No issues there.
1. created a bunch of empty docs via touch doc2.rst in the root directory. 2. edited the index.rst by hand and added all the docs (approx 20) 3. then ran .. toctree:: from the command line and bash barfs as its not recognized "..:" as a command. So was wondering what Im doing wrong. This sure looks like a very capable and easy to use documentation system once I understand the basics.
