Your timing chain will rattle in the front cover when it is ready to be changed. If the high idle is all the time (even after being warmed up), then you may want to check the ECTS for leakage and accuracy. It may be reading cold. Chris

Someoene told me that I might need to replace my timing chain cuz my saturn idles at 1100 rpm? Besides checking for vaccum leacks, how can I fix this idling problem?
