Your timing chain will rattle in the front cover when it is ready to be
changed. If the high idle is all the time (even after being warmed up), then
you may want to check the ECTS for leakage and accuracy. It may be reading
cold. Chris

I have a 93SC2 with 122K miles on it.
how do I know if I need to service/replace my timing chain.
Someoene told me that I might need to replace my timing chain cuz my saturn
idles at 1100 rpm?
Besides checking for vaccum leacks, how can I fix this idling problem?
IAC? the check engine light hasn't come up yet.

Thanks
