Keep coming with the information here, Brian....

So you think that I would be better to go with the 17 X 7 with a 38mm
offset, but I can get away with the 40 as long as I go with a 205/45 17
tire.

The only thing that I don't like about the 205 series is that the
overall circumference of the tire is slightly higher than that of the
stock....which gives me a taller ratio....I prefer the 215 series
better....

I have been looking into lightweight rims such as those offered by
5Zigen, OZ, and others.
