Well I was planning on doing the the Mass Miata event today but either I forgot or didn't realize that they require preregistration. So I get there and the event is full so they send me home. Oh well.
So that the day wasn't a total loss I spent most of it redoing the SPOCNE website. It still needs some work but at least it is functional now in its new home. What it really needs is a complete do over. I don't know what I was thinking when I made it with Frames. The automatic member signup page still doesn't work and will require a complete rewrite from ASP to SQL. Not something I am going to do in one day. Instead I took all the old entries and created a static page out of them. There are 46 entries!!! Imagine if we all showed up for a garage day? Brian has volunteered some video footage which I will try to get posted shortly. I am thinking of replacing the bookstore page with a video clips page. If anyone has other ideas for this or other parts of the site please let me know. Anyway if everyone could take 10 minutes and visit the site, click a few links, etc.. Let me know if you find any typos, broken links, etc.. Also be sure to check your own information on the members page and let me know if it needs updating. Also we can always use new and relevant links for the links page. I have redone the PDF file. I took the schedule off so that we can use it for a while without having to redo it again. I looks like crap on the screen but prints out very nice on a laser printer. I haven't tried color yet. Please, everyone download this file, print out several copies and keep them in your car. Then, whenever you see a modified Saturn put a flyer under their windshield. Oh, if anyone wants a real POP email box like [EMAIL PROTECTED] let me know. I can set it up as a forward only address or a true POP box. I only have a few of these available but I'm not using them for anything so first come first served.
