Brian is right. Mine did that too and it was boiling in the hoses too. Check the temp sending unit on the right side of the block just above the coil and under your cold air intake. You can check by taking an ohms reading. It can be the sensor, the connections or the wire. If you fan kicks on when the temp gage reads hit then that unit is not works right. Don't know if that's your problem, but that was mine so just passing it along. Don XRC
