May 12 would be tough for me. I'm instructing at the BMW club autocross
school the day before, and my brain will probably still be spinning in
circles. :) I'd have to go from Winchendon to Weymouth to Winchendon, then
to Essex, and then to Winchendon again - at which point I collapse. :) I
don't mind making the trip, just not when I'm making an even longer trip the
same weekend.
That's not a definite no, and it also doesn't mean you shouldn't have a
garage day anyway. My car doesn't need any work. :)
