I have like 12 unread messages in this list so all this has probably been
said but I will answer anyway since I feel like it. 8-P

Nope bring them on. If we don't answer them to your satisfaction keep
pestering us until we tell you to shut up. That won't happen though.

I would but the 12th (I assume in May?) is an NESCC event. The 11th or 18th
work better for me. I'll tell you though if you try to pick a garage day
that everyone can attend it will never happen. Pick a day that a lot of
people can come and you'll be good. Those that can't make it will just have
to wait until the next one.

Speaking of Essex though I met a guy up in Maine at the CMC event today
who had a first gen Perl SC1 that he was running. Very impressive times for
a basically stock SC1 to. Luckily I had printed out some SPOCNE flyers that
are available on the web site (which everyone has copies of in their car
right?), to give to him. Hopefully he'll join the list and since Essex isn't
that far from Maine....

That was probably Matt's car. Basically just pull the parts out and spray
paint them. I would use a good non-gloss paint, make sure you wash them well
before hand and let the paint dry all the way before reinstalling. Most of
the vents can be pulled out without disassembling the dash. Just take your
time. Something like a small plastic screwdriver to use as a pry tool will
help. Just be gentle and they pop right out.
