I have a bunch of pieces painted in my car... It wasn't hard at all, most of them just popped out with a screwdriver. Wash them well, LIGHTLY sand them so the paint will stick a bit better, coat them with primer, paint them whatever color you like, let them dry and then clear coat them so they are easier to clean. Mine were out of the car for a couple of days while I was doing this, but they came out well. It's been about 3 years since I have painted them and with the exception of the cupholders all are holding up well. Matt SPOC NE web site: http://www.spocne.org
