I browse from 4000kHz to around 7000kHz fairly regularly, and I pick up a
host of beacons in that area. However, I've never really gone to a whole lot
of trouble to identify them (partly because I haven't had a whole lot of
free time in the last two weeks). I do have recordings of most of them,
though. I've also come across more than a few open carriers in that area, as
well (on 4008 and 4071kHz most recently).
