It reminds me of a film where two "guys" communicated by "talking guitars" location was "hillbilly" country and the one actor I think may have been David Soul - I'm definitely not a film buff !!- but that guitar duo is very well known.

Dueling Banjos from Deliverance. Burt Reynolds, John Voight and Ned Beatty were the hapless rafters in hilbilly hell. One of them establishes communication on his guitar with an apparently genetically damaged local individual who can't talk but he plays the banjo just like Earl Scruggs. (Movie Magic).

On the 6877, I was guessing closer to Early Kraftwerk from the stuff on the MP3. You know, when they were still imitating Stockhausen and weren't the techno pop diddle diddle diddle thump dweep. However the stuff going now on the DRM DX-tuner with the big antenna sounds more like one of those old post-serial Moog sequencer experiments they did at universities ca. 1973.
