Twenty-five years ago I was given a Minolta SRT 201 as a gift and I still
have that body as a back up. Since then, I've upgraded to an X-700 and
experimented with a number of lenses but settled on Minolta-brand fixed
focal-length lenses. Most of these, I bought second had and have not a any
problems. My list of lenses (and I usually take all of them with me, even
when I travel on the motorcycle):

19mm f9.5 (circa 1940's I'm told)
35mm f1.8
50mm f1.4
85mm f1.7
135mm f2.8
200mm f4
300mm f4.5

The only other one I'd like to have is a 24mm lens. At work, I have my
body and three *basic* lenses (35, 50 or 85, and 135) with me in my grip.
A few of the engineers I've worked with question my sanity when I pull out
my camera to grab a shot. I will not, however, stage my own photo
run-by's...
