OK...OK..I'll bite !!  I really like the vertical shot of the BNSF
Pumpkins on the stack train (Not a grain train as the caption says) in
Glacier Park.  The low clouds hanging in the valley in the background
are spectacular !  This is a good example of how poor weather can still
produce high quality photos.  Of course, the orange engines helped a lot
too.  The same shot with a pair of SP tunnel motors would not have
nearly the impact.

Another item related to composition:  I (and I would guess that I am not
alone) dislike photos where the train is cut off by the edge of the
frame.  Instead, I feel that the train should disappear naturally within
the photograph.  This might sound like a fundamental rule, but I noticed
many examples on the SPORRS page where this rule is broken (possibly
even some of mine :-)  )
