Well of course you stay within the basic parameters but one photographer may
develope a style that can readily be recognized because he likes to shoot from
a distance from the shade side to make the shadows of the cars part of his
composition while another may prefer down on shots.  We all borrow a little
from each other as the hobby progreses and it is no longer thought (by most)
that the only acceptable way to shoot a locomotive is 3/4 from the sun side.
