I am getting more error messages and bouncing mail from non-SPORRS members' posts and SPORRS members' incorrectly sent server commands quite frequently again, so there are two mail problems we need to try to solve: Please don't send a message (post) to the SPORRS list while also sending to other e-mail addresses at the same time. The SPORRS address is only for SPORRS members to post their messages to the list with, and when a non-member tries to send mail to it (like on a reply to one of these posts that they got too, or they are just curious what the address is), each one bounces back to me as a non-member submission. Also, I am trying to avoid spreading the SPORRS posting address around to cut down on SPAM. I already get some SPAM that is sent to the SPORRS list, because it is also bounced back to my mailbox as non-member submissions. If it gets out of hand, I will have to change the list address (or delete it), and to me, that's a lot of work for nothing. Also, if you wish to unsubscribe from the SPORRS list for any reason, either temporarily for a period such as a vacation or spring break, or permanently, you need to send the correct server command to the correct address. All of this information is in the SPORRS Info file which you were sent when you first subscribed to the SPORRS list. It was suggested that you keep that copy of that file for reference. If you no longer have that mail or print-out, or you want the latest updated version of that file, the SPORRS Info File is also on the SPORRS web site. All of the directions for subscribing and unsubscribing to the SPORRS list are in this file, and that info is near the top. I have the list subscription process set up as automated, so you can unsubscribe yourselves, or send a subscription request in yourself, so I can approve it. I will not unsubscribe you manually. It's much easier for you to do this yourself the way I have the program set up. If you do not have internet access and you want to get the latest copy of the SPORRS Info File, then you need to send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the only words in the body of your message as: info sporrs If you have anything else in the body of your message when you send the above command, like a signature or your E-mail address, then the server will not process it correctly, and it will most likely bounce back to me as an error message. Please pay attention to the list operating rules to keep this list operating smoothly for everyone. I have no interest in running this thing only to get a mailbox full of error messages and bounced mail every day. Thank You.
