Yes they can, and they are supposed to according to the Kodak franchise
agreement. But since there is no profit for the camera store on a pre-paid
mailer you bought somewhere else, expect some resistance.
I still maintain that the wise rail-shooter would deal as much as possible
with a local camera store, as a relationship with a camera store will get you
out binds such as this. If you buy your gear and lenses from the guy, he'll
certainly let you throw mailers at him now and then.
