Unfortunately, the only "professional" photo store in the Durham area dropped its Kodak processing at the beginning of this month. According to the manager, Kodak wanted the store to pay a substantial fee for the courrier service -- which the store declined, saying that they couldn't make any money on Kodak processing that way. That's the store's version. I don't know Kodak's version. (The photo store does have its own minilab, but some of the folks who have used it have not always been happy with its consistency.) Strangely enough, I noticed that the local supermarket, Kroger, which is only half a mile from where I currently live, has envelopes for Kodak processing at its customer service counter.
