Two of the bigger LA stores greeted me with indifference. One LA store (a small one) wanted my business, gave a pretty good price, then admitted he didn't have everything in stock and it might be 2-3 weeks before he could deliver. One very well-stocked and very ARROGANT LA county retailer, looked at me, looked at my list and blurted "...why do you want Canon? I have this Pentax....." PLEEEZE! I haven't been back since. Another one gave me a song and dance and again, tried to sell me something else...a Canon product, at least he was in the ballpark! Marketing 101: "Give the customer what he wants." All these knuckleheads failed. Now B&H and Camera World of Oregon have all my business and "loyalty." I can find the so-called expertise that you get from a camera store other places, like this list. --DRB ======================================================= -> SPORRS: 'Serious Photographers Of Railroad Related Subjects' -> Web Site: http://www.anet-stl.com/acphotog/sporrs/ -> Message © 1998 SPORRS® - All Rights Reserved =======================================================
