     Hello All,

I was reviewing some of the SPORRS images the other night and I
noticed that some of you aren't bashful about using a teleconverter on
your longer lenses, such as a 200mm or 300mm. I've always refrained
from using a teleconverter, since there has been a lot of negative
publicity regarding their sharpness and light fall-off around the
corners. I'd really like to hear your experiences and recommendations
when it comes to teleconverters. Although I haven't convinced myself
that they are O.K., they sure are a lot cheaper than a new lens,
particularly when you're talking about 300mm and up. Thanks in
     advance for your responses.

Best Regards from The Land of Cotton,

     Danny Johnson
