...fine, except that I compare our hobby a lot to fishing. I have 
heard of "serious" bass fishermen and "professional" bass fishermen 
but never heard of "avocational" fishermen.

MY favorite bumper sticker: "The worst day fishing is better than the 
best day working."

Substitute "shooting trains" for "fishing" and you have my feelings 
exactly. 

I believe, judging from the posts over the past few weeks, too many 
people on this list are spending too much time working. Certainly the 
case with me!
