I have the grid screen in one of my two 35mm bodies (the other has a kind of a cross with the 5 focus points which ends up having enough vertical and horizontal shapes to it to work in a similar way - an 'E' grid screen for that camera comes without(!) electrical contacts like the stock screen, so the AF points, which are also the spot meter points, don't work then - utterly stupid!). I have a grid screen in my Hasselblad and a grid ground glass on my view camera too. I wouldn't know what to do without them now (probably shoot everything leaning to one side again!).
