Oohhh BURN!

That's why an EoR is so nice to have, but since they're so few and far
between, I'll read the building code, put the heads on balconies, make
sure the arch hasn't taken a sprinkler increase on 13R systems ect...

Since you don't care about building codes do you omit the sprinkler
heads from balconies of apartments buildings in jurisdictions that have
adopted the 2003 IBC because the NFPA 13R says you can?

I do Sprinkler Design for a Sprinkler Contractor. I design to NFPA-13.
Don't
know building codes, don't care building codes, that's for the Architect
or Engineer of Record. I put a sidewall in every elevator pit with a
tampered "Butterball" on the branch. If NFPA-13 says do something I do
it and I don't worry about the plumbing inspector, the electrical
inspector, the building inspector. I do worry about the Fire Marshall
Inspector.
