It's nice that you are giving their company the benefit of the doubt but save your breath.

I know of 4 cases were different offices have aggressively fought sprinklers (3 in very recent years). This is not a case of a policeman beating someone then one asking if that is the policy of the department. Unfortunately they have shown that their company policy is that for a fee they will ignore solid fire protection engineering and voice the wants of their clients.

That is the typical world of consulting. Nuff said on this thread me thinks.

While Schirmer, as a firm, may not agree with their employee's opinion, they still receive the brunt of the publicity. I believe that Schirmer should publically announce their opinion as a firm in order to clear up any
